Book: Yes, I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned? Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Ginger, you just keep on being stubborn. Stubborn is good.

Laura, may this rage-inducing saga soon be over and resolved in your favor.

We went to see the Crown Jewels. My companions were riveted. I was, okay, shiny, next! Staring at them wasn't my thing. If I could have touched them, I'd have been there quite a while. Going to museums and such places can be difficult if you and your companions don't have similar interests and physical/mental needs. I tend to feel kind of trapped there, especially in places that herd you through instead of letting visitors wander at will.

Of course, my experiences at museums etc is colored strongly by both my aversion to being around lots of people, and by how badly my back is hurting that day.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'd totes do the British Museum again and again. I'd like to see the Tower of London again too.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The Tower of London was awesome. The week I was in London was the first or second week in June, and it was sunny and in the 70s all week -- except the day I went to the Tower. That day was gloomy and overcast, which I thought was perfect for going to the Tower. I also ate fish & chips outside the Tower. It felt like a total tourist experience.

I think the Tower was probably my favorite, followed closely by the Globe Theatre reproduction.

brillig

I would hate being herded through a museum. I don't mind if there's a specific path, but let me take my time so I can stare intently at the displays that interest me.

And I'd get in trouble in the Tower because I'd want to see the nooks and crannies.

Always Anti-fascist!

I went strawberry blonde again AIFG. (I'm not sure how to get a pic online cause my old camera doesn't work anymore.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think I'm just stubborn.

Ginger, there is no just about your level of stubborn!

Always Anti-fascist!

Do what you feel, Ginger.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ginger, that is some amazing stubborness you have.

Laura, I hope everything with the evil bank is resolved soon and in your favor. In the meantime, calm~ma to you.

I think I have found my solution to the allergy tiredness. Skip the store lattes and have a Starbucks via at home instead. I'm bouncing with energy at the moment. TCG took a vacation day today because he had an all day conference thing on Saturday, so we slept in, did some errand, and went to the library. It's been a good day so far. We have a ton of leftovers from eating out with the family yesterday, so no cooking tonight!

hip deep in pie

Bank-ma to Laura.

I can't remember if I was at the British Museum. The National Gallery I remember. It was 27 years ago. Damn I'm old.

I'd want to hit the V & A, for sure. If and when I go.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I spent so much time at the V&A that I didn't have much time to hit all the other museums.
