I don't think so. (Were they going to London also?). Maybe the friend could overlap the trips? But yeah, travel can be tricky with people, and while it'd be great if you got along, I don't think it's required that you be into it.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I just don't want my friend to be torn between us. I don't think that the friend's been to London before. I'm not going to want to do stuff like see the crown jewels, etc.
I am pro cakes of all kinds.
Oh my god, I just ate All The Foods. It was D's brother's birthday and their mom cooked. Kebabs and three kinds of salad and deviled eggs and a dobash cake... So good. And I got leftovers for lunch, yay. She's leaving this Friday and wants to see me again before she goes. Yay, my bf's mom seems to like me.
Vortex,
I think you can explain it like that. you think your interests might differ and you can take a trip with your friend another time.
Happy anniversary, Laura and Brendan!
I want to see theatre, go to a few museums, eat at some good places, and hang out in pubs.
Now I want to go to London again. Museums, pubs, theatre, pubs. I've already been dragged to the crown jewels.
Yay, my bf's mom seems to like me.
This does not surprise me.
Hey Ginger, want to go to London for my birthday?

This is really what London is all about to me, plus shopping. If you're going to go and spend the money, you should get to do what you want to do.
there's nothing wrong with seeing the crown jewels and things along those lines, it's just that I've done it before, and didn't enjoy it enough to do it again.

No, I've done it too, but I really don't need to do it again either. Not to mention I had the worst anxiety attack walking up the Tower of London stairs to see them.
