Yeah, I was thinking if you got cupcakes you could have some gluten free and some vegan and some regular, if you so desired.
I am sad--I broke my kindle. By sitting on it. On the plus side, better that than my iPad or phone, and its my last day here so it's not like I'll run out of stuff to read. Though annoyed at myself that this was the ONE DAY I didn't bring a paperback to the beach also, so had to leave Brenda to the cool breezes and head back to the house. Doh.
Why don't you have the groom's cake, and assorted cup cakes?
One wedding I went to this past summer had several small cakes -- like, five cakes, each maybe 6-8 inches in diameter, each one a different flavor, with a different kind of decoration.
Tep, have them make a sample smaller cake a few months ahead.
So, am I a bad person for not wanting to go on a trip with a good friend and someone I don't know? I sent an email to a friend suggesting that we go to London for my birthday (which we had sort of vaguely discussed) She replied that she and another friend who I don't know were already planning a trip the week before. I don't really care about the timing, I just don't want to go a trip with someone I don't know who may have different motivations for being there. I want to see theatre, go to a few museums, eat at some good places, and hang out in pubs. Is it bad to say I don't want to go now?
I don't think so. (Were they going to London also?). Maybe the friend could overlap the trips? But yeah, travel can be tricky with people, and while it'd be great if you got along, I don't think it's required that you be into it.
I just don't want my friend to be torn between us. I don't think that the friend's been to London before. I'm not going to want to do stuff like see the crown jewels, etc.
I am pro cakes of all kinds.
Oh my god, I just ate All The Foods. It was D's brother's birthday and their mom cooked. Kebabs and three kinds of salad and deviled eggs and a dobash cake... So good. And I got leftovers for lunch, yay. She's leaving this Friday and wants to see me again before she goes. Yay, my bf's mom seems to like me.
Vortex,
I think you can explain it like that. you think your interests might differ and you can take a trip with your friend another time.
