Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Bonny, feel better.

Can I get some ~ma for my extended family. There is drama, nothing that effects TCG and I directly, and nothing I can get into here. But I'm worried about how all of it is going to play out for people I care about.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So last night I think I had my first hot flash. Wow. At least my skin didn't feel hot and tight and painful, like with Niacin. But it woke me out of a sound sleep. Weird.

For a while I had what I was sure were hot-flashes. Turns out I had a UTI and with proper application of meds both went away.

Huh. I guess I'll wait for a larger statistical universe.

Surprised the hell out of me.

Of course, its possible that the UTI gave me hot-flashes because of my ever-increasing oldness.

ever-increasing oldness.

An ailment vector that always gets more efficient.

edit: though now Hubby is blaming it on my alleged blanket-stealing ways.

There should be a festival for that.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

A festival, a party and a parade.

Hot flashes are annoying but I keep reminding myself that it means I am another step closer to not having to deal with this shit. Really shiny silver lining.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I was super bitter that my passport was expired so I couldn't jaunt off to Mexico with Brenda and meara, but after having to buy a new muffler and the epic fail of my internal client to get shit done so that we couldn't meet today's deadline for a project, I'm kind of glad, because I would have been flipping out like a mammal to go to Mexico without this done.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Shit Vortex, you've just reminded me I haven't actually done what I needed to do to renew my Jamaican passport.

I....don't remember step 3 or where the supporting docs are...maybe I should do taxes instead.
