Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Nutritional yeast can be used as an ingredient in vegan cheese, but I think you also need the other ingredients before it tastes cheesy. On its own, though, it's really good sprinkled on all sorts of savory stuff.

ION, my glasses just broke. I'm trying to decide whether driving home at dusk would be safer with these glasses, where I can only see out of one eye, or with sunglasses.

I thought yeast was sort of animalish, ie, spores and such.

It's a fungus amungus!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yeasts are fungi, which puts them closer to animals than plants, but still vegan-friendly.

I got home OK with the sunglasses. I tried super-gluing my regular glasses back together, but it wouldn't hold. Now I replaced the scotch tape with duct tape, which works a bit better. Going to LensCrafters tomorrow.

Please forgive the drop in, but I need some help.

Steph, I've been taking Terbinafine for a month and a half and now seem to have gotten strep throat, or some other fever inducing infection.

My temp has been 101.8 pretty much all day. I'm weak, but am not snotty or coughing.

Just the temp and sore throat. I've gargled with Apple Cider Vinegar and it is the BOMB. Really reduced the throat pain.

My question is, can I or should I, take Tylenol or Aleve to bring the fever down so I can sleep better tonight?

Woe. Woe is me.

Both are fine with terbinafine if you want to take them. You'll probably sleep better if your fever is down.

Thank you so much. I've got some Tylenol PM that is calling my name.

Wish me luck.

So last night I think I had my first hot flash. Wow. At least my skin didn't feel hot and tight and painful, like with Niacin. But it woke me out of a sound sleep. Weird.
