Do you want to move out, Askye?
Thanks for the link, Scrappy--I've seen stuff about her before, she's totally hot.
I am spending from yesterday until Thursday night with a coworker who I'm switching places with--she's taking over my project and I'm switching to hers. An she is driving me kinda nuts--she's so damn bitter and negative!
I'm not sure if it's because I'm older, this is a BIG baby, or what, but I'm ready to get to April 29!
Oh, that was Ryan's due date. (He overshot by one hour.)
I missed the Biyi news! Someone nilly me?
Sure: billytea "Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In" Mar 4, 2013 5:51:23 pm PST. She's very proud of it.
I kind of do. It's a weirdly shaped space and the landlady's kids (or maybe it's kids she has for daycare) run and jump a lot. She indicated she wants to use this space for day care at home purposes so it makes me think that even if I'm not ready to move she will be ready for me.
I'm not sure when Will and I will be ready to move in together. If I did move I could move closer to him, but I kinda like where I am and don't necessarily want to move until I have to (when we move in, I live 1 1/2 away from where he works). But September is far enough away to find a place.
Maybe this is a sign I should move.
Omnis, thanks for asking. Ellie slept at grandma's lost night and got lots of pampering and catering. She seemed much better this afternoon and back to herself. Im. Relieved.
I'm loving the wedding talk, happy new is happy!
in other happy news, first date with cute geeky pilot guy went very well, in spite of the appointed restaurant being closed without notice (boo!) and having to relocate a few miles away. And bonus: he also has mid-week "weekends" so my working weekends is totally not an issue. He still lives in Washougal, but has a car and doesn't mind driving so I'm calling it a win for now.
eta: having a car is actually kinda a big deal here, the last 4 guys I dated in Portland didn't drive. Bike and mass transit only. Can be problematic when you live far apart.
Congrats to Biyi indeed!! That's wonderful.
Glad Ellie is feeling better.
erin, yay for a good date! I hope things keep going well.
If I make it to St. Patty's Day without getting sick, it'll be a miracle. I'm nodding now as I type this, though I'm listening to NPR as I type (am on the ferry).
You will all regret encouraging me to post wedding things. (Muwahahahaha.)
Possible table decorations (the pictures in jars): [link]
I can totally make those.
I love all your wedding talk, Steph!!
I can totally make those.
Those look cool. But don't commit to doing TOO much of your own stuff by yourself or you're going to stressed out of your mind and staying up until midnight the last couple days before your wedding crafting like a damn fool.
