Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Tep, please continue the wedding talk. It is FUN and we are all so very happy for you.

Congrats to Vortex and to Nora. #womenrockinit

We are having all kinds of huge work reorgs and it seems that once again, I have stepped off of a sinking ship onto a shiny new one just in time. Alas, my old co-workers were not so lucky. No one has lost their job yet, but it looks like it might be a possibility in the future.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

How is this last trimester, GC? I hope it isn't too uncomfortable.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Am loving the wedding talk. I approve heartily of all personal and subversive touches.

Nora, nothing is wrong with the new place except it's complete chaos of boxes and furniture. I CAN'T FIND MY PEANUT BUTTER, Y'ALL. Not a euphemism. So I stole some from a roommate and left a note.

And yeah, my parents are totally going to help.

D and I talked over email and things are better. He forgets that words matter and that we're not an improv duo.

Still no spoons, but less of a deficit. But for you, Andi, I gots them.

Oh, and congrats Vortex! Glad things are going well.

I approve heartily of all personal and subversive touches.

Right?! They should go full on geek-kink.

Thrive to spite them

The Batman and Catwoman topper is awesome. Plus incorporating Tim's mom's tradition into your bouquet and the Buffistas!

How is this last trimester, GC?

It is so much harder this time around. I'm not sure if it's because I'm older, this is a BIG baby, or what, but I'm ready to get to April 29! But he and I are both healthy and all is well, so the important stuff is where it should be. Thanks, Maria!

Our wings are not tired.

It is so much harder this time around.

That was my complaint, but the doctor explained it is that much harder when you have a child that you are taking care of. Last time you only had yourself to nurture.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And in mememe news, I got promoted yesterday. I'm sure that y'all have noticed that I've been much happier in the last year, though more absent since I have to actually work now. It feels good to know that they like me as much as I like them.

Yay!

I talked with a woman at a mixer who had a dress you absolutely would rock, Vortex. I complimented her on it and we actually talked about it so I am going to see if I have Google-fu. I thought it might be rude to ask to see the tag and since she was giving me job seeking advice, I erred on "not raised by wolves."
