Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Congrats, Hil!

Saw the outlaws today. My tax prep appointment at the accountant was immediately after theirs. My MOL (mother-out-law) was cordial, but my FOL wouldn't (couldn't?) even look me in the eye. Didn't say a fucking word. And you know what? I am A-OK with that. They don't matter any more. It's not going to bring him back. If blaming me helps, then fine. I can handle it.

Thank you for helping me find the strength to do so.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So hard, Maria, but yes, you did and are doing the best thing you can for yourself and ultimately for them. Of course they're grieving too, and it's a shame they're taking it out on you in such a negative way, but you're right, you don't have to let it affect your life.
