Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Pix, Crazy Meds doesn't have anything like that, but I did find that after another med triggered depression when it wasn't supposed to, my anxiety Celexa, when it had to be upped, made my depression worse. Like the reduction in panic attack energy was just sucked out of my system, rather than redirected. So then I had to add Wellbutrin.

It's frequently a balancing act on a wiggling tightrope. Stupid brains.

Narrrrr. Stupid sinuses still hurt like all the hells. I am not producing any kind of snot, much less green snot that might indicate an ongoing infection. My last dose of the antibiotics (10 days worth) was today, and all I got for my trouble was an upset stomach and a yeast infection that could destroy a village.

I'm going back to see the doctor tomorrow, but I don't know what the answer is. Steroids, maybe? Because there is SO MUCH PRESSURE and it hurts like I got punched in the face by [insert name of someone who punches really hard]. And my ears hurt. I don't think another round of antibiotics would do any good. (And I've been doing the neti pot twice a day, and taking behind-the-counter sudafed and mucinex and WAY more ibuprofen than is wise. So I can't think of what else would help, other than steroids, which I'm not thrilled about, except if they work, then huzzah.)

The only person who can see me tomorrow is a doctor (or possibly NP) who is new to the practice, so I don't know if she'll give me the stinkeye if I walk in and ask for steroids. OTOH, it's not like I'm asking for an endless Rx for opiates. I just want my face to stop hurting.

Plus my gums hurt from the Evil Probing Pointy Stick of Evil that the dentist used to check my cavernous gum pockets. Essentially, my entire head is made of badness. Except my hair. It's very pretty.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh Steph, I hope you get some relief.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, definitely ask about a steroid type nasal spray like nasonex. I hope your doctor can give you something to feel better soon.

I am both hungry and sick to my stomach at the same time. I can't decide what I should do about this.

Toast?

Or crackers? Something fizzy to drink, like seltzer or ginger ale?

I just wrote an email to one of the engineers, "for the hundredth time, you have to do X before Y can happen." I was careful to delete the 100th time stuff before I hit send, but man, it felt good to even say it.

Thrive to spite them

Maybe the new doctor will look at things with fresh eyes and give you the medication you need. Hope that's what happens.

I went to the doctor today and it went better than expected. Last visit the doctor was rather dismissive about my concerns about possible thyroid problems. This time though the tests were on my side - since September there's been enough change to indicate I probably have hypothyrodism. My shrink didn't do one test so my doctor had me go back for blood work for the 1 test that wasnt' done and to recheck the test he did. But she seemed confident that she'd be starting me on a supplement and I'd have to follow up in 3 months.

The lithium will probably make it worse as I keep taking it but that's something I'm going to have to deal with.

Trust my rage

Ok, could you people just remind me that I don't suck? I am just so ready to not have drama in my life. Literally, if it is not one thing it is another
