Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sox, you need to escalate this. today.
Just talked with the manager for 30 minutes. He swears this is regular paperwork for a terminated pitch call. And went with "you know, no one's perfect, but I don't want to accuse one of our best loan officers with wrongdoing right off the bat before he's had an opportunity to defend himself." Also, "I know these documents are confusing."
I have an email trail now, as well as a follow up call scheduled with the manager in an hour, following his conversation with one of the best loan officers he has.
The motherboard is frelled on my laptop. With the price I was quoted to fix it, I'm thinking it's better to just get a new one. Did not need this expense right now.
Blerg, sj. My desktop finally died, so I also have to buy a new computer, and now I'm looking at laptops. It sucks that they're not as easy to repair with their tiny little parts.
Jesus, a friend of mine was shot over the weekend in an attempted car jacking: [link]
Please remind me not to read the comments (the ones at that story are ok, but not at the one that's linked)
Man, my head is SO not in the game today.
That's so scary, Nora, good god. I hope he's doing OK. The bullet hit him next to his ear? That's just terrifying. Healing -ma to him.
eeps Nora, hope your friend recovers and is OK.
How awful, Nora. Recovery~ma to your friend.
Thanks. He came through brain surgery OK and is recovering. Right now the swelling in his brain (HIS BRAIN!) is causing complete vision impairment, but doctors think that will change once the swelling goes down.
My co-worker was in the passenger seat - it was her car, and she was coming back from her birthday party, and R. graciously was driving her home. She is... recovering emotionally. Her parents are here, probably trying to get her to move back to Atlanta.
We are all pretty shook up around here.
