Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Blerg, sj. My desktop finally died, so I also have to buy a new computer, and now I'm looking at laptops. It sucks that they're not as easy to repair with their tiny little parts.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Jesus, a friend of mine was shot over the weekend in an attempted car jacking: [link]

Please remind me not to read the comments (the ones at that story are ok, but not at the one that's linked)

Man, my head is SO not in the game today.

That's so scary, Nora, good god. I hope he's doing OK. The bullet hit him next to his ear? That's just terrifying. Healing -ma to him.

Thanks. He came through brain surgery OK and is recovering. Right now the swelling in his brain (HIS BRAIN!) is causing complete vision impairment, but doctors think that will change once the swelling goes down.

My co-worker was in the passenger seat - it was her car, and she was coming back from her birthday party, and R. graciously was driving her home. She is... recovering emotionally. Her parents are here, probably trying to get her to move back to Atlanta.

We are all pretty shook up around here.

I'm getting completely stressed out about several things that have happened today. Stupid things that are not important and not all bad. There is so many better things to concentrate on. Why can't I just do that?

Oh, man. All kinds of emotional and physical healing to them and those who love them. Scary doesn't cover it.

Well, I just told off a door to door saleswoman. That made the day a little brighter.
