True, and I'm going to take my part in it.
What I don't understand is how the risk of this sort of thing happening...which it MUST happen all the time, given the demographic...it is worth the risk to them to display their product in public space.
They don't do so on weekdays, only on the weekends when the dog population around here is enormous.
eta: on the front of my responsibility...I'm generally pretty aware of how much Cagney has 'in the tank' so to speak. We walked a goodly distance before we arrived in front of that store and I was definitely was not watching him. That is on me. But I swear, I thought he was out.
As Zen alluded, I would not want to be a customer of that store and purchase a 'pre-peed' rug without my knowledge...and I am a dog lover!
That doesn't really mitigate bonny's responsibility as the dog owner.
Didn't say it did, now did I?
I'm ridiculously worried about my appointment tomorrow. Any ~ma you can spare, please?
Lots of ~ma, sj.
Oy, bonny. Really an expense and bother you don't need right now.
Good weekend. Tired. Liking D more and more. We ran into StW and his new gf last night, so that hurdle is done with. Yay. So funny comparing the two, they are so different physically. And personality wise. StW is now just somebody I used to know, which is slightly bittersweet but only slightly. It was never anything real; being with D feels real, which I'm almost too superstitious to even type.
Okay, enough rambling. Sleep well, Bitches.
Yay for healthy love and getting past old hurdles, smonster.
No jinxing possible. Real is real and deserved is deserved. See where I'm going here?
I'm quietly, non-big-deal-makingly happy for you.
Lots of ~ma, sj
And yay for that moment of recognition, smonster. Real is good.
~ma, sj.
Good morning. I'm having a very slow morning here, still trying to wake up. I have tons of things to do, but I'm starting to suspect I have to be This Awake to start care about it and actually start writing.
Bonny, Joe was sitting on the beach in Rio one morning and a friends' dog walked up to him and peed on his shoulder. Never happened before or again but the poor owner was mortified. Dogs and children both: no matter how hard you work with them, sometimes they makes messes and inconvenience people.
Personally, I'd tell them you would like a receipt for tax records, or something.
