Bonny, Joe was sitting on the beach in Rio one morning and a friends' dog walked up to him and peed on his shoulder. Never happened before or again but the poor owner was mortified. Dogs and children both: no matter how hard you work with them, sometimes they makes messes and inconvenience people.
Personally, I'd tell them you would like a receipt for tax records, or something.

Thanks so much Stephanie. I appreciate the empathy. I, too, have been peed on...I think four times so far. And, someone peed on my brand new doggy lama backpack while I was emceeing a Howl-o-ween event. Can't really toss it in the washer...Not to mention nearly EVERY male dog visiting my house peeing on something or other.
Bartleby and Cagney have peed in this house exactly once each.
Everyone else? Way more. I thank science and delivery systems for Nature's Miracle!!
