Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That is not a bad deal at all.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I see a niche market there, Typo.

If you've got the balls for it.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

That's a good deal and a good bra that you'll wear very often. Support is important. Of course, finding them on sale is even better, but doesn't help you out when you need something, like, now.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My uncle used to have a dog named Iko-Iko.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

"Sit, Ubu, sit!"

Compassionately intolerant

I know Scrapple, Hemingway, Fenway, Speck, Rock, Thelma&Louise (matching Coonhounds), Sparkplug (don't call him Sparky), Sir, Gary, Pony, Bob (those last three were Bartleby's good friend), Bix (as in Biderbeck, Cagney's bestie), Odin, Marco&Polo (matching black Pugs), Turtle and Goose...who is a Grey Greyhound. Oh, and Tatertot.

I am amazed that I have yet to meet a dog named Bacon.

Cagney was nearly Gimli and, if I had a matched set, I would probably name them Leto and Ghanima.

Dog naming is an art.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I've long planned to name my (someday) dogs Nancyboy and Widowmaker.

We used to have German short haired pointers, Guiness and Stout, at the park, but they moved. Couple of Murphys, couple of Jacksons. Darby's walk buddies are Titus and Chopper. One-eyed Maggie, Hero, Raider, Rocky, Bowie. Not a lot of people names in this hood, now I think about it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My parents don't use any grand- term for my cats, but they do buy Christmas presents for them.

Aloysius and Sylvester, nicknames Wishy and Vesty.

Those are good names! Mine are Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with the everyday names of Rosie and Gilda.
