I'm trying to decide whether to be worried about my tetanus shot reaction. I don't think I am, but I got the shot on Tuesday, and I have a swollen welt on my arm almost two inches across. No fever, no more arm pain. So I think I'm not worried.
I would like it to go away, though.

as long as you don't feel heat or it doesn't get worse, that's about on target. I had a hard, sore knot when I got a tetanus, pneumonia booster in the same arm. My arm was fucked up last year.

The tetanus shot is a nasty one. Boys had bad knots when they got theirs.
The welt itself is warm to the touch. But like I said, no fever.
If it keeps getting worse, though, I may go to urgent care tomorrow.
We have plans to pick up B and take him to dinner tonight to celebrate the big 21, and I confess to being secretly amused that since he lost his license, again, he won't be able to have the fun of ordering his first legal drink at dinner with his parents. Yes, I am that mean.
