Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Vibing like mad for you and your mom, omnis.

Whatever kind of ~ma you need for this tough one, omnis.

The tetanus shot is a nasty one. Boys had bad knots when they got theirs.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The welt itself is warm to the touch. But like I said, no fever.

If it keeps getting worse, though, I may go to urgent care tomorrow.

We have plans to pick up B and take him to dinner tonight to celebrate the big 21, and I confess to being secretly amused that since he lost his license, again, he won't be able to have the fun of ordering his first legal drink at dinner with his parents. Yes, I am that mean.

That's not mean, that's karma

Yep! Insert smiley face.

How are you and your kids feeling, Stephanie? Seems I recall a puke fest happening at your place recently. Or am I remembering another Buffista family?

No, that was us. Thankfully, it was a 24 hour thing. We are all back to normal now. I just finished making Sammy's birthday cake. It looks so pretty; hopefully it will taste as good as it looks.

Laura, you all have been in my thoughts.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I can't believe Sammy is already a year old!

I talked to my friend K today because it is also her birthday (so many people I know with birthdays today), and she is just a few weeks away from her due date with her second child. This is so exciting because she gave birth to her first child (a boy who is doing great now) when she was only 20 weeks pregnant. I think both her and her doctors were skeptical she could carry to term.

Is today Sammy's birthday? It really doesn't seem possible that it has been a year.

I'm glad your friend is having a better pregnancy this time around. It adds additional stress when the first one was so early.

His birthday is actually Monday with the party tomorrow. But he was born on a Saturday so it sort of feels like today is the day.
