Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

And Nora, I've been thinking about trying a meeting here, so if it would help we could go together to one to break the ice.

This is an excellent idea.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I'll just hold all of you close for a bit. It has been a rough few days for people .

not your mom's socks.

I'm so sorry I didn't mention your detective work. I was so touched. Your call came at the peak of an Ativan dosage while waiting to get more blood drawn.

I didn't want you wondering who the random voice from the Internet was! You don't need to be sorry for anything.

I wish I had a good link to post as anti-dementor therapy...

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I found Al-Anon helpful. I didn't go for very long, because I'm not a joiner and whatnot, but I did go for a little while. It was good for me to get advice and empathy from people who don't really need things explained to them, because they already get it.

What Beth said.

Bonny, I'm so sorry you went through such an ordeal. Antibiotics are bad enough when you need them. I am currently celebrating my last dose of cipro, hopefully for a good long while.

Smonster, I'd love to hear a bit more. My friend is a good friend, but not normally the same sort of person I am (?? Way more woo-woo, for instance) and I'm not sure how their experiences translate to me.

Am getting coffee and going to deal with the NINETY new emails in my work inbox from yesterday. Lordy.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Just wanted to poke my head in the door to echo everyone - very glad you're home, bonny. And hope you continue to feel betterer and betterer.

And so glad that Friends From the Glowy Box were able to give you such support!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

With Christmas and New Year's past, can we think out the Easter Bunny?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My aunt and uncle sent me a save the date for their daughter's wedding. I'm trying to push back that skeptical voice in the back of my head that is saying I only got one because I ran into my uncle at a family event a couple weeks ago, and he remembered I exist. Honestly, when he saw me his jaw dropped like he saw a ghost.
