I spoke with Bonny; she's dealing with a lot of runaround from the staff - one will tell her one thing, another will come in and say something else.
I'm going to see if I can pick her up a charger and stop by.
Spike ,'Get It Done'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And while I was checking in with Bonny, Todd walked in with the charger...
It is good to hear that Bonny is getting the care she needs both from medical staff and Buffistas.
And I'm about to call her.
t edit Todd is still there but about to leave, so I'ma call back in 5 minutes.
After three days of the landlady telling me that she was trying to contact a handyman, and that he wasn't calling back, a friend offered to come over with a ladder, and we disconnected the smoke alarm. No more beeping!
I'm thinking that B.org proves the Sandra Bullock movie "The Net" isn't quite true. Well, not with this group. So happy to have such caring friends!
Tons of ~ma to SJ and to Bonny.
Pix, how you holding up over there? I hope today wasn't too bad.
I wish I had Buffistas in easy driving distance.
Me too.
I talked to bonny for a bit -- she's frustrated (rightly so) by many things, chief among them being the way nurses come in with medication for her, but don't know why the doctor ordered it. Trying to get answers and otherwise be her own advocate is pretty exhausting, too.
They say she can go home tomorrow -- the rash isn't better, but no one is alarmed by it, which seems to be a cautious good sign. Benadryl isn't really helping, but the hospital added Pepcid (which actually helps with skin allergic reactions, although it doesn't work quickly). Since she's taking antibiotics for an infection, she almost certainly won't be given steroids for the rash, because steroids suppress the immune system.
All things considered, I thought she sounded pretty good. I hope I was helpful, even a tiny bit.
Teppy, I'm so glad you were able to talk to Bonny tonight. I love it that buffistas have each others back.
