I know! I miss the old bar like WHOA!!! But I also hadn't realized that Beerworks had taken over an existing brew pub back in the day.
Did you get over to Gula Gula? They expanded their beer selection substantially (and the pizza place next door is theirs too, though they don't have nearly as many taps).

My time in Salem was quite limited, so the Beerworks is all I got to (also my cousin's townhouse by the Point.)

I did go to the er at 1:30am. Fever above 103.
In contrast to the experience in '10, this time was so much less dramatic.
Right now, I am so riddled with Ativan that I can hardly type. It's very Alice.
