Wow, and all kinds of love and -ma to Matt. Glad you're taking care of yourself.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
{{{{Matt}}}} I'm so sorry you've been going through this, but I'm glad to hear you've also been taking care of yourself. Much ~ma to you.
Matt, love and hugs to you. If I/we can do anything, please do not hesitate to ask. You are an amazing person, and I'm so glad that you are taking care of yourself, I would hate to lose my F2F foodie partner! ;)
{{Matt}} Depression sucks, but it sounds like you've got a plan to cope and make improvements. Lots of ~ma on your journey to a healthy psyche.
The closing on Mom's house was today. And in somewhat related news, we're headed to the bank on Saturday to find out what kind of mortgage we qualify for. It's an interesting way to spend our one year wedding anniversary.
I was just thinking about you, Matt, since we hadn't seen you for a while. I hope you're doing well.
sj, that's quite a set of transitions and things. How's it going?
Today's duck nibble: Frankie started limping one block into a two block walk home from the McWarnigles (he waited outside). He kept stopping to lick his left front paw, so I picked him up and carried him home. He didn't want me to look at it, but finally did with lots of well-timed treats, and I couldn't find anything. While I was in the shower he moved from his bed to mine, where he usually sleeps, but he's holding his paw crooked funny and didn't follow me back to the living room when I came to use the laptop.
Man, I hope it heals magically overnight, because I'd have to put a vet visit on my credit card, and that would likely max it out.
I want to hide under my bed for a week. So, really not so well. I just see a giant ball of stress looming over the next several months. On the one hand my upstairs neighbors are evil and I can't wait to get away from them. On the other hand, mortage applications and house hunting and home ownership scare me beyond description.
I want to hide under my bed for a week.
Sounds like a pretty normal reaction to me! It is big and scary and new, but it's totally doable. Uh, not that I've done it, but other people have. Buffista people even. One day, one thing at a time. You can do it.
It's too scary under my bed.
