But over the past year it seems as though this state and the people in it are determined to screw me with my pants on and it is starting to piss me off.

And we STILL get them from Joe's mom. And she lives LESS THAN A MILE away. But never makes any damned effort to see Em AT ALL. My parents take Em for days at a time.
But my siblings? Rarely, if ever, do they come down just to see us. We were in the last house for 2 years. My sister came once. Granted, my brother was living in MSP until a year ago, but a couple of weeks ago was the first time we've seen them since July. I just don't understand the point.
