Okey doke, smonter. It's good someone will get some use out of it!
e-me a snailmail address and we'll work it out.
It's quite big...roughly 3" x 2", so it should go to an address where someone can receive it. You don't want to have to track it down!
I'm sure it will brighten you day...see what I did there?
yeah. lame.
Considering how much grief they gave you about being in Cali...grr.
How do we have the same family?

RIGHT?? There are some awesome things about living here. I would have never been able to go back to school for teaching as easily. Family has, at times, been great. But over the past year it seems as though this state and the people in it are determined to screw me with my pants on and it is starting to piss me off.
Yeah, I get that...I'm talking about the 2-ton guilt bombs about how they never see you and such. Hello? 8 is too young for that irony, people.
Don't make me come out there. I just won big today.

And we STILL get them from Joe's mom. And she lives LESS THAN A MILE away. But never makes any damned effort to see Em AT ALL. My parents take Em for days at a time.
But my siblings? Rarely, if ever, do they come down just to see us. We were in the last house for 2 years. My sister came once. Granted, my brother was living in MSP until a year ago, but a couple of weeks ago was the first time we've seen them since July. I just don't understand the point.
I don't expect them to come to every damn thing. I really don't. But big stuff? Yeah, I fucking do.
my grandma does that too. I really thought we'd visit a lot when she came back to town, but not like I expected.
I wish I could have seen Em in The Nutcracker. Some people do not appreciate what they have. Also, they suck.
She was a TOTAL STAR! She was Raggedy Anne. Her and Andy open the toy scene. The curtain goes up, Anne and Andy are sleeping back to back, downstage, in front of all the other toys. Andy wakes up, stretches and yawns and wakes up Anne (Em). She gets up, stretches and yawns. They both bend toward the audience and put their finger to their lips to shush the audience. Then they skip in a circle. They come back to the audience and Andy bows, Anne curtsies. (Audience applause) Then, they jump up and down and wake up the toys. The toys wake up, they all play on the stage for a bit, Clara tiptoes in and walks among them, amazed that the toys are alive, and then the mouse soldiers come on and they scatter away, scared.
Aww. That sounds adorable, Aims.
This is the second time since we moved here that someone has rung our doorbell late at night then run away. Is this what suburban teenagers do for fun these days?
