Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Tea:

I'm trying to decide what the builder meant when he said he would be back in the afternoon. How long can I get away with still being in my pajamas today? I also need to try and get my glasses fixed. I found a pair of prescription sunglasses, so I can actually drive somewhere to get them fixed if I go out before the sun goes down without worrying about getting stopped and having to explain why I am not wearing my glasses while driving.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Aims,

this is why I love the holidays. I can find new ways to get into arguments with people I love.

Grinding update: I have been wearing a Targét mouthguard for 2 days and I have nearly bitten through it. When my dentist said he recommends people buy 3 mouth guards, he was not playing around. I figure I probably have another day or so for this one, and then I'll have to break in a new one!

I purchased the brand recommended above so we will see how I do with that.

I just found three spoons on my desk here at home. Pro: I can haz spoons! Con: those should really be in the kitchen.

I managed to be dressed before the builder arrived, had the local optometrlst fix my glasses, and made an eye appointment for Tuesday. I'm going to call today a win.

Dear Builder,

Please stop talking about Obamacare and various other things you've heard on right wing radio.

Thanks, erika. He has gone now. I like him a lot and he is very good at his job, but I'd rather not hear about his political views. I personally just think it is unprofessional to talk about politics to customers.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

ugh, sj. My mother had the same thing happen to her a few weeks ago. She was captive audience to a guy cleaning the rug who was also an apparent anti-obamacare "expert". I wasn't there so I don't know what I would have done in that situation, but I feel for you.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oy, sj.

So remember that super busy weekend I had planned? It's probably going to look somewhat different. My car just died with no warning in downtown rush hour. I'm off to the side and my insurance covers towing, so that's good. Mostly likely clutch or transmission. Ugh.

D is with me, and immediately sent me around the the corner to get a bagel. He learned fast about my blood sugar crashes.
