Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oy, sj.

So remember that super busy weekend I had planned? It's probably going to look somewhat different. My car just died with no warning in downtown rush hour. I'm off to the side and my insurance covers towing, so that's good. Mostly likely clutch or transmission. Ugh.

D is with me, and immediately sent me around the the corner to get a bagel. He learned fast about my blood sugar crashes.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Ohno, smonster. So much easy/cheap fix-ma. I'm glad D's there in case you need to lean a bit.

amyth OMG yes. I am shockingly calm. I'm going to save my freakout for when I find out the cost. Good things: we were headed to the burbs to see the Hobbit, so at least we weren't towing from there at midnight or something; I called my boss (thinking he might know something) and he has offered to help me pay for repairs (i have to have a car for work). Bad things: I'm supposed to drive to NC in a week.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

smonster, tons of cheap-fix~ma headed your way. Also, good for D for realizing what you need at that moment.

We went out for Mexican tonight because the low fume paint was not so much low fume while it was drying, and I couldn't eat at home. I am now happily full and a little tipsy from a super yummy margarita. I was supposed to go out with a friend, but she blew me off. She's a teacher with a little boy, and I think she was more than a little freaked out by the events of the day.

A woman I went to high school with just posted on facebook that in light of today's events people should start rethinking wanting to remove "In God We Trust" from our currency. I just don't even know what to make of some people.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am about to try to sleep, since I have to get up at 4:30 to get my plane. WHY ARE THE SUPER EARLY FLIGHTS SO CHEAP I ASK YOU?
