Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I'm going through and deleting files on my computer, trying to get rid of duplicates and organizing it some.

It's all random and there's stuff I moved over from other computers, things I saved I forgot, and snippets of stories I started writing. And then there's some sad stuff. It's weird trip down memory lane.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am also tipsy! I am sorry I missed you at Pete's!

I saw where you were! Is the stout super yummy? KR and I had a good venting session. Every time I go to Pete's, I resolve to go there more often. And then it's three months before I return. I am actually a wee bit hung over, so I'm chugging water this morning.

BFF met my new girl and gave a thumbs up.

Yay!

Se did at one point say she was surprised to hear I've been mostly single, that I seemed like the person who'd be in long term relationships. Hmm.

People say that about me, too.

Our wings are not tired.

People may only be long term relationship type people if they meet the right person. It kinda takes two.

I need to get my butt in gear here. It is a really lovely day with a cool breeze flowing through the open windows. The sounds of birds calling and the neighbor kids playing are not pushing me to shower and get dressed. The coffee is really tasty too so at least I should stroll to the kitchen to fetch more. I'd love to skip going to the office, but not a real option. At least it is a good bike riding day for the commute. Yeah, just rambling here.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The stout was indeed super yummy and I am also a wee bit hungover. Also sleeeeeepy.

It's a beautiful day here, too. I'm working until 3, and then running errands and doing stuff at home, and then yummy Indian food with Tom and Nora and D and RI and some of D's friends. Cannot wait! I haven't had Indian since I moved here.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Smonster, I think you just convinced me to stop at the Indian restaurant when I am done with this doctor's appointment. I'm hungry and waiting for someone to get back from their lunch and do my blood work.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Man, I've been craving Indian for 2 days. My plan for today's was to put a lasagna in the crockpot, but I think that just got bumped to tomorrow.

Ha! The lure of Indian food cannot be denied. And this place is supposed to be super good, according Nora and pretty much everyone who's gone there. All day I've been exclaiming randomly things like "Mango lassi!" and "Garlic naan!!"

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Laura, I'm so sorry about your kitty. Pet life spans should be longer. IJS.

Sooo....Hi, y'all! I've been extra-lurky and skimmy lately as it has been super busy. A few things I have learned:

1) A hot doctor should not be allowed to perform colonoscopies. Seriously.

2) Same hot doctor should not use the phrase "You have a beautiful colon." Upshot is I'm still anemic and don't really know why.

3) When you're in your 40's, a simple physical turns into all kinds of follow up appointments with specialists. Upshot on all those is I'm healthy and don't have breast, skin, or colon cancer.

4) A group of women planning a bridal shower really don't communicate well together.

5) I still make a kick ass Bailey's chocolate cheesecake.

Yay healthy? Yay cheesecake!
