t-shirts that say SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT MY REPRODUCTIVE CHOICES. They would be marketed in maternity and not-maternity versions; and in matched sets including M-F and M-M and F-F sizes; and with ads featuring adorable looks-just-like-a-clone kids, and wildly diverse kids, and no kids at all with adults living perfectly fulfilled lives. And the kids versions would say shit like HOW IS IT YOUR BUSINESS WHO MY DONOR IS? and WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHERE AM I REALLY FROM? and HELL NO SHE IS NOT THE NANNY.
OMG, I think the sales might pay for Buffista Island.
sj, I send you lots of ~ma of all kinds to get you through this frustrating time.
"We're you previously acquainted with the aforesaid squirrel?" "What was the nature of your relationship?"
"Did the squirrel squirt mustard on you at any time?"
I made a kind of vodka cream sauce. But I used whole milk and sour cream, because I had no cream, and it's watery. Tastes okay, though. I'll have to try again with the right ingredients.
Speaking of cooking with booze, last night I decided to try and sautee JZ's mushrooms in brandy. I was fearful it wouldn't work but it came out pretty yummy. (There was also olive oil, Thai fish sauce, butter and garlic involved, but you could taste the brandy.)
sj, glad you got it.
LOL at the squirrel jokes.
I am without knowledge of Raising Hope squirrels, but still highly amused. People underestimate the inherent evil of the squirrel.
sj, you and TCG are welcome any time. Guest room is always ready for such excellent guests. I didn't start trying to get pregnant until my late 30s so I had no way of knowing I couldn't carry without taking progesterone until I had miscarriages. It was easy enough after the problem was diagnosed with real science and simple tests. The notion of 'just relax' is total bullshit.
Thanks, Laura. That helps. I know that there are a lot of things that can be wrong which can be easily fixable, which is why I just want to know. TCG and I really do want to see you and your DH again hopefully in the not too distant future; we had a great time with you when you were in Providence. Do you have pets?
We have a sweetheart Doberman. Zoe is young and enrrgetic, but a sweet large dog. At this point I have to say my cat of many years is gone. We've always had a cat door because Georgia had no use for litter boxes. For the last year or so she pretty much just lounged on the patio most of the time. We haven't seen her now in 2-3 weeks so we have to accept that she took off to die on her own. I'm not sure exactly how old she was, but old. I tried to think she had gone off to explore a bit, but it has been years since she left the block. Pets! Still kinda in denial as I adjust to her decision.
Aims, Em is awesome!
sj, so sorry about people being insensitive.
Erin, you just made me LOL for realz.
May I recommend a holiday trip to Florida?
Laura, did I mention that ND and I will be in Florida visiting my dad from the morning of the 26th through the morning of the 31st? We should get together again! He has a pool now if you want to take a swim.
I'm sorry {{{Laura}}}. Didn't mean to bring up a sore subject. I was just wondering because TCG and I should probably get a hotel room if we visit. He is allergic to dogs.

A friend bought me two jack and gingers at the local, and then I went crazy with my stash of quarters and bought two (TWO) Twix. It's kind of funny when spending $1.50 without worrying makes you feel reckless. Woohoo, check me out with the crazy candy buying!!
Also, boy it felt good to get tipsy and do some mutual venting.
