I like Carol of the Bells, though that's probably because I sang it in school chorus practically every year. (It's one of the very few songs that just about everybody involved in the "What songs should public school children sing at the winter concert?" debate can approve of -- it's traditional, it contains the word Christmas, and it does not mention Jesus at all. Plus, there's an easy two-part arrangement for elementary kids, and a bunch of more complicated arrangements for older kids.)
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You know who LOVES "Carol of the Bells"? Laura! She's got multiple versions and I hit her up for a few last year.
I associate it primarily with Aste Spumanti.
cowboy boots that were decorated with black rhinestones. This worries me.
Clearly, you were channeling me. grabbyhands
Seriously, I bought these boots [link] a couple of months ago, and they are my favorite boots by far.
Cowboy boots. With swirly patterns of rhinestones. They'd look great on you, juliana. I just don't think they'd work for me. But they're so sparkly!
Thanks, Hec!

I only have 19 versions. I do love the older traditional hymns too. Going to Catholic elementary school had an impact.
Yay, Emeline!
Emeline - what a lovely thing to do.
sniff Aww, Em! Well done.
Awww. Emeline is a hero!!
What a lovely gesture...and an outstanding example of great parenting!
I'm not a huge fan of run-of-the-mill Christmas music, but I love a good mix. Count me in the looking forward to Hec's cleverness crowd.
An old boyfriend used to make fun mixes including a delightfully raunchy blues tune called "Backdoor Santa." I miss that stuff.
