That's what happens when you don't have a night shift anymore.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Where is our night shift? We need our night shift.
I mean, I realize I'm in the eastern time zone right now, and I'm older and don't stay up until 3 even when I'm back home. But I miss all our internationalistas.
We also used to have more east coast early risers, I feel...maybe just because when I was east coast they were posting before me. ;)
Are we also less talky in general? I feel like I'm more talky because of the phone, but people are less talky overall. But that might just be because I have more frequent access.
I'm less talkative at home, because I'm usually on my iPad. After years of typing ~100 wpm on a regular keyboard, the iPad keyboard is a bit clunky and frustrating. I have a blue-tooth keyboard that works pretty well with it, but it's usually out of reach, and I'm usually pinned down by a cat.
What Calli said. And Liese. I'm on all the time because of the phone but its a hassle to type on. Plus there's more places to put random thoughts these days, Facebook and twitter and all.
Are we also less talky in general?
I think we are.
And also seem to be in a bit of a conversational lull in this thread. That'll probably cycle back up again.
Even though I am often part of the late shift. But when it's slow, if I don't have something to say that I think might lead to conversation, I don't post.
Sorry, no longer on night shift now that i'm working my super sweet 11am to 9pm shift. Sleeping when the sun is down? Totally not overrated.
Are we also less talky in general?
I definitely think so. I remember days when I would come home to hundreds of messages here after being out all day.
I am here more when I am not subbed in Natter. Of course when I am reading both Natter and Bitches I have run out of time to actually post by the time I catch up.
