Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

the bird is already defrosted. So, that should keep it from becoming a mortar in the frier. Now it's figuring out when to remove it from the fridge.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

By "you" I meant omnis, which wasn't clear.

He took two and is still totally lucid. That's no fun.

Speaking of no fun... pain kicked in around 1 am. Drugs don't seem to be helping at all. Must have some kind of Russian immunity to painkillers.

Steph - on the odd chance you're up and see this... how long before he can switch back to Percocet? Does he just have to wait four hours from his last dose of Lortab?

eta paged doctor - he can switch back to Percocet at the next interval and add Aleve.

Edit again - is there any reason you know of that if doc said to take Aleve, he can't sub ibuprofen?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thank you, Strix.

We can has a cease fire now. There was another siren in the south this morning, and they lasted two hours after the cease fire was declared, but other than that - touchwood touchwood touchwood - I think this round it over.

And this is a huge relief.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

He should be able to take ibuprofen; they're both antiinflammatories.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh thank goodness, Shir.

Yay for cease fire. Fingers crossed somehow, somewhere, someone can figure out how to break this cycle.

He should be able to take ibuprofen; they're both antiinflammatories.

Excuse me while I do the dance of "I was right" here where he can't see me. Actually, I'm back home, so he can't see me anyway. He insists (it's nowhere in his discharge paperwork) that they said not to take ibuprofen, that an antiinflammatory would slow healing. But the doc definitely said Aleve this morning, and D didn't ask if ibuprofen was okay. It's all whatever now, I got him some at Walgreens, but with ibu you can take a little every few hours instead of needing to wait.

Protip, y'all - if you get a nerve block for surgery, start taking your pain pills *before* the block starts to wear off.
