Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I know you said you don't need the hugs. But you get the brackets anyway! {{{{ Shir }}}}. Let's see what they can be used for:
- keeping you from shivering in the "cold" shelter
- restraining you from slugging your fellow student (because violence about violence is just wrong)
- because we all are worried about you, and want to keep you safe anyway that we can

And when peace breaks out, the brackets are still there for you, to help with any PTSD that may linger, from being in a constant state of fear/run for shelter/duck n cover/whatever you want to call it. Stay sane! And may this skirmish end soon. Like. NOW! please!

Thrive to spite them

~ma to erika and Anne. Also safety~ma to Shir and Nilly.

I still don't have my Abilify. Last night I stayed up way too late, took my medicine too late, and then freaked out I left my phone at the restaurant - until I found it on the couch. Where I had it because I was knitting and looking at the pattern on the phone.

However, I did get out and walk some so out of the house and exercise. tomorrow I'm going to the yarn shop for help and I'll probably walk. If the weather is nice.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Shir, thank you for keeping us updated, and I'm so sorry, scared, horrified for you and for everyone else caught up in the violence. My thoughts are with you.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Askye, my biggest issue with Abilify was the cost. My insurance would "cover it" but it was still crazy expensive. My doc was able to give me a coupon that dropped the cost for the first two refills - mainly to see if it helped me. Which it did. I just couldn't afford to continue to use it.

Thrive to spite them

I'm on the state medicaid plan right now so if I have a co pay it will probably be minimal. It also means they probably really really don't want to pay for Abilify. But my doctor has good documentation that other stuff either hasn't worked, given me bad side effects, or made me manic/have anxiety attacks and he really wants me on either Abilify or if that doesn't work the Sassify drug (which, I guess is even harder to get approved).

It's like 6 weeks until xmas and I hve 1 present knitted. I've got one almost finished, I've got a pair of slippers with 1 slipper done, I need to go tomorrow and get help getting it sewn, then it's going to be felted. But I have to finish the other. Omigod this pattern should be easy but it kicked my ass but I think I finally have it down. It should have only taken me a few hours, tops, but I kept having to undo rows and stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It strikes me that a likely side effect of Sassify is Castiel boning Sam.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I hope that you and yours stay safe, Shir, and that the fighting ends quickly.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Hey guys. Just thinking of Shir and Nilly and wanted to stop by and hug you.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hi Lilty!

Have lit a candle for peace, and moved an angel and my little Buffista penguin (from SF f2f?) to the center of my altar. Wish there was more I could do.

Man, I cooked the hell out of some greens tonight. Had two kinds from my CSA and a large bundle of green onions, so I steamed them and then cooked them forever in bacon fat, adding some Steen's cane sugar syrup and apple cider vinegar to help counter the bitterness. I'm going to take them to Thanksgiving, as well as a veggie casserole and maybe some homemade brownies.

I also made myself a big mug of hot cocoa and marshmallows, and am doing some work work. And I've done a bunch of my Flylady nightly routine (trying to actually make it a habit), though I'm pretty much out of time. Which sucks, because I'd like to keep going on this work stuff. Oh, well.

Mmmmm. Greem onions and marshmallows in one post. Two of m'favorite things. Hi smonster.
