Happy birthday, Hil! I wish you treats and cakes.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hi, all! Tom and I are on the train home from Chicago, where we had a wonderful, wonderful time with Buffistas, an old college friend, and our very sweet niece from Ireland. I am stupid in love with the city now.
"Channing Tatum" + "Bourbon Street" + "bordello style bar" adds up to something that scares me.
Happy birthday, Hil - I hope your body lets up on you some.
Feel better ~ma to askye and omnis.
Everything I have heard about Channing Tatum the person sounds quite positive. I still haven't not hated any minute of him acting, but he doesn't need to take my revulsion towards him performing his chosen primary career personally.
He comes with good off-the-job references.
I will take that under advisement, then.
I will be happy when that Magic Mike movie is gone (from cable - I know it's gone from the theaters). Though I won't be able to refer to it as a "ball fest" anymore, and that's kind of fun.
I've only seen Channing Tatum in 21 Jump Street and that was a surprisingly fun movie, and he was put to good use in it.
I...had fun at Magic Mike. Tatum doesn't do it for me, but he is a fun dancer.
I was dragged, kicking and screaming, to the theatre by one of my best friends, who paid for my ticket and got me really...impaired. We saw it on a Tuesday early afternoon in a nearly empty theatre and...I started howling with laughter the second McConaghey (sp?) came on stage. (No, not like THAT.)
To be fair, I don't think that movie was aimed at 40-something gay women.
I think you are right. (I think I was supposed to be more titillated than I was amused, but I am jaded and DID have fun laughing!)
Also? BOMER! I wish he'd gotten more screen time.
