Damn, JZ, I am tired just looking at that list!

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I think JZ deserves a gold star.
I'd settle for a martini (sadly, just at present a gold star is more attainable).
I'm afraid a kerfuffle may be getting ready to go on my Facebook page. I hate conflict. Why did I re-post something political when I promised myself I wouldn't (for just this reason)? Kicking myself and really hoping that the guy who just agreed to stop mansplaining at me and sorta almost apologized won't rise to the bait just posted by my former boss...please, please, please.
askye, for the record, the cat I just lost was part Maine Coon and had the best personality of any cat I've ever known. Though you might want to keep size in mind if that's an issue. Domino was about 20 lbs - not really fat, just huge. And I noticed they didn't mention his size in the ad. But only you can know if it's the right time for a new one to come into your life.
Today totally gets a gold star from me.
Damn, woman! #winning
And dang, JZ, you definitely kicked your to-do list's ass today!
You deserve a martini and a gold star.
My first serious boyfriend had a half siamese cat. He was chatty as hell. And huge.
Neither Dean nor Maddie were chatty cats. Occasionally Dean would make some noise but it was unusual. Penny is somewhat vocal but not a lot.
I got her this to entertain her [link]
She loves it. It took her a bit to figure out how to get the ball over the hump but she's a champ at it. I think I'm going to ask for a second track for Xmas so she can have more fun and 2 of the balls to chase.
Will thinks I should wait until spring maybe to think about an additional cat. This one happened to hit the parameters I set (adult, male, where I could verify his health history, needs a home because someone is moving / or cant' keep for other reason).
I get it. I'm waiting for serendipity to bring me my next cat. If it wasn't for the width of the continent separating us, I'd be very interested in this one. Waiting a bit makes sense, though. Best of luck whichever way you go.

He knows you really well and wants the best for you.
Consider giving yourself some time. Even a wonderful cat who needs a home can't replace what you've lost. There are other homes. And there will, in time, be other wonderful cats.
