Why? Why do people move things that have lots of cables going into it? Ya know, little things, like:
Little things. Nothing major. @@ Ugg. Looks like my morning will be interesting trying to figure out which cable is which. and find a way to re route them for this show. Ugg.
I totally missed out on a perfect opportunity to write-in Clovis the Devilbunny. One of our local Land Management districts had no one running at all so I wrote in my second choice for the other Land Management district. I bet Clovis would have some excellent ideas on managing a district in Portland.
I woke up at 3 AM with horrible back pain, which is annoying enough, but now I can't stop sneezing. I was just sick; I don't want to be sick again.
I'm seriously burning out at my school right now.
I am totally burned out and cranky right now, but I know I have an end in sight. After today, my schedule goes back to normal (which is teaching 6 classes with 175 students but that's okay). Today is our state contest for the speech team, so I won't be coaching for 2-3 hours after school anymore. And, of course, after coaching, I still have my usual 2-ish hours of planning/grading/etc. to do each night. I am so freaking tired right now, it's not even funny.
Ugh ChiKat, sending you lots of strength~ma to get through the final push.
Thanks. I'm loading up on coffee this morning. Brought a travel mug from home and just ran out during my morning plan for a large DD coffee. Wheee!!! Caffeine!
I've sorted and started laundry. I can be done now, right?
I came in at 7:45 this morning in order to fire someone. Not a good way to start the day. For him or me.
Ooof. You can totally be done. I will give up my being done-ness to you, babe. That sucks.
Although, to be honest, having hung out with you a bit when we were still in LA, you are so incredibly nice that if I ever get fired again, I want you to do it.
I had a total blast last night. Thursdays are our line dancing nights. So we went out to the country bar last night and they had a surprise concert instead of the house band. It was an 80's hair band cover group called Hairball. They were fantastic. There were three lead singers who would dress as various 80's singers and take turns singing a couple of songs before moving on to the next hair band. There was KISS, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, Bret Michaels, Prince (!), Axel Rose, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Freddie Mercury, Motley Crue, and AC/DC. And I know I'm missing a few.
