Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The Devilbunny is going to take note of that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The DH has a long history of writing in Bruce Springsteen for any contests with no viable candidates.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Bruuuuuuuuce!

He might do a pretty good job, actually.

In Athens GA, where Paul Braun [link] runs unopposed in a gerrymandered district, people are planning to write in Charles Darwin.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I may just have to write in Clovis for one race this year.

I spent 4 hours today with my adorable 6 week old niece! I'm just ridiculously in love with her.

And now I am waiting for trick or treaters. Our town apparently has designated hours from 4-8, which means I shouldn't feel guilty when shutting the lights off at 8.

Our wings are not tired.

So many good choices for write-in, but I already voted.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

At Shane's preschool today, one of his 3-year-old classmates was dressed as Obama. It was the most precious thing I've ever seen. Still dying!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jilli, I feel quite safe. Very, very safe.

(Motherfucker renewed his wedding vows in a crossdressed ceremony at the supermarket). And he doesn't play dressup with a dolly, so much as with a Dali.

Even his down low minions like me will be saved.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My town has official trick-or-treating hours from 6 to 8. Having "official" anything for trick-or-treating seems like it takes most of the fun out of it. So far, it's just been really little kids, many of whom were way too young to have any idea why they had been put into these weird outfits and were ringing people's doorbells.

Thrive to spite them

I didn't get candy, I'm feeling crappy and PMSy and bah humbug. Normally I like seeing all the kids and the costumes but tonight I don't want to bother.
