All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

My mom and her cats are going to stay next door with her brother and my gram for the next couple of days. That makes me happy. I don't like her being alone during storms like this.

Anyone else struggling to get stuff done?

Me. I've been struggling a lot the last couple weeks.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Okay. What are your top three, or whatever?

I want to spend 15 min each - washing dishes, cleaning A/C filters so I can switch to heat, and creating a receipt for A.

Oh! and I forgot to say thanks for the belt offer, sj.

I am. A lot. To the point that I'm nearly having a panic attack about the papers I haven't graded whenever I think about them. I just read the first stack I have to grade (just an initial skim to set the bar), and usually that act of getting started helps me break past the barrier. Not this time.

Also, my home town has declared a flooding emergency--they are expecting flooding five times worse than it's ever been before. Glad Mom is on the highest bit of land and not in danger of that, but worried about my many friends and family members in the flood zone.

Put together two packages to be mailed, do laundry, and pay bills.

I am actually going to lie down for an hour to see if I can break my allergy headache. Once I'm up again I'll post again and you guys can get me to tackle five papers at a time. Thanks. Love my Buffistas.

I should add that I'm having no problem being productive in other ways. ND and I even went grocery shopping! And cleaned out the fridge AND took out the garbage! But what I really need to do is grade.

Okay, nap. Then grading.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Putting off vacuuming tends to keep the rest of my house sparkling clean. It does not get my vacuuming done, unfortunately.

I actually do need to vacuum but am at the parents today.

Anyone else struggling to get stuff done?

Me. I should be deep cleaning for my sister's visit next weekend, and so far I've just done a little laundry. But the day's so gloomy and the cat on my lap's so warm.
