And I'm sorry to be throwing myself a pity party. We are absolutely thrilled to be having this baby and we love our little insomniac S more than words can say. Totally grateful that our worst complaints are around lack of sleep and not any health issues.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Congratulations, Glam! Vibing that the new baby is a slumber champ!

No, I totally get it. It's rough! And wonderful and exciting and all that, but that doesn't mean there aren't bumps in the road.
Totally grateful that our worst complaints are around lack of sleep and not any health issues.
So true -- this is something I remind myself of over and over. Lots of good wishes to you and your family!
Dude, pity party not at all, I'd go nuts with that little sleep. Hell, one of the reasons I never even contemplated med school was that I figured I'd be dreadful at having to be awake for days on end as a resident. Eek.
I also meant to say earlier that Emeline? Is ridiculously adorable!
I am so very grateful for the large extended family and DH. When I see single parent friends with little or no family support I just don't know how they manage.
Dude, pity party away! If you can't when you are pregnant when can you get away with it?
We had a couple move into the apartment across the way from us a few months back. The woman was pretty much ready to give birth when they moved in. We had introduced ourselves and chatted about the area, welcoming them, nice neighbor stuff. K-Bug mentioned that she babysits infants and would be willing to help, either as a sitter or mother's assistant after the baby was born. I think we freaked them out. K-Bug said that while she has seen the lady with the baby since then, the gal has kinda gone out of her way to avoid K-Bug.
I wish you lived across the way from me! I'd have K-Bug over here in a skinny minute!
ETA: Glad to hear the test results were good. Hugs!
Does K-Bug help unpack boxes?
Not sure....when we moved out here, she missed the unpacking phase of the move.
