Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

First, many ~mas and thoughts and brackets as needed for Frank, Suzi, and Cash and for everyone else I might have skimmed to get here.

Second, on Things That Were News For Me/Body, You're A Wuss news: Apparently 4 hours of couchpotatoing in front of the TV, on a day when you already have a migraine, and when you're living of 5 hours of sleep per night does not, I repeat, does not count as rest after medical produce that includes stitches.

So everything's OK, I just didn't rest properly (and rest, apparently, means "sleep" and not brainless TV. Fooled me). Didn't get enough sleep tonight too (7 hours), but I'm monitoring myself better today not to collapse as I did yesterday.

Also: body. WTF. These are only 5 stitches. You've dealt with it much better when I was 11 and a bigger wuss, so what's up with that?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

This chicken was like the "natural" option at the regular grocery store, so maybe it's not bred for size like the usual broiler/roasters? I dunno how "natural" it actually was, it was still at the regular grocery store in the regular case, and only about ~20 cents per pound more.

I was intrigued!

Shir, ugh. I'm so sorry you've been having a rough time.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Shir}}} Feel better.

I have started my day by falling on my ass (not hurt). I'm hoping my day improves from here.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Shir, hon, sleep. Your body needs sleep to heal, and more as you get older.

Me, I'm back at the doc. Lost another seven lbs in the last couple of weeks, I think that's twelve total for this illness. I haven't weighed this little since I was super depressed after breaking up with my first gf in 1998. I definitely feel like butter scraped over too much bread. Have no spoons and starting to feel depressed.

She's putting me on Cipro, which is apparently good for local nasties, and if I'm not better by Monday I have to do another round of stool samples. Also giving me more Bentyl for the stomach cramps.

Art Crawl!!!

Made to order shoes - on etsy for $75.00.

That seems ridiculously cheap for actual made to order shoes.

Thrive to spite them

I'm at the vet with Dean. He started having trouble breathing. They gave him the shot to relax him and when Will gets here the vet will come in and give him the other shot. At least he won't be in pain like Maddie was.
