Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
{{Frank}} Much love and all possible comfort to your mother, and to you and all your family.
And lots of kitty~ma to Dean, askye.
And Matilda needs that Avengers GO! image on a t-shirt, STAT. As does her mother.
Kitty~ma for Dean, askye.
Lots of ~ma.
I've been cleaning stuff. Well, decluttering stuff, because someone from Molly Maids is coming on Monday to give me an estimate for getting the apartment cleaned every other week. (I'd been considering this before the mouse thing, and the mouse thing pretty much decided it.) But I realized that no one can really clean the place if there's junk everywhere, so I'm trying to pick stuff up and put it back where it belongs. I've also ended up with an enormous pile of cardboard boxes to bring out to be recycled.
(I went with Molly Maids because they're a reputable-enough company that I'm sure they comply with labor laws, and because they offer the option of using "green" products. I'm not entirely certain what their "green" products are, or how green they actually are, but I figure they must at least be better than the usual stuff.)
Molly Maids is also bonded and insured. Which barely worked out for me when they messed up my tub but eventually did. And I knew that if it had to go legal, it'd be backed.
Hil, I've been thinking of looking into something similar. The people I hired to clean before we moved in were just too pricy, though, so I need to look around more. Like Cass said, bonded and insured is important.
Mom is babysitting my adorable little niece today. We were supposed to go help out, but we don't want to bring whatever might be left of our plague with us. Tomorrow we have theater tickets in Providence.
We use Home Sweet Home, which is Molly Maid-esque, for exactly those reasons.
Girly question whitefont: For the last two months I've had mid-cycle spotting. Last month it only lasted a day. How concerned should I be? Could it be because I recently went off the pill? I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow, but I was wondering if I should be panicking at all between now and then.
Don't panic, it's prob related to change in hormones from going off pill. Doc should be able to reassure you :)
health~ma to Matt's dad. Cat~ma and calm~ma to Dean and askye. Much, much of all the various ~ma's to Frank and his mom.
Today, Tom and I went out and about shopping for Tom. Shoes, new bike helmet, comic books, regular books, and a seersucker jacket.
Also, I don't know why the weather people in New Orleans are in such denial about it being warm in October, but every morning this week I've checked the weather and see that it's gonna be cool, but no, it's like in the mid-80s. Which is fine, just stop lying to me! And to yourselves!
Got to see smonster (too) briefly today, which I count as a major win.
Now very tired.
