Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I've been sick with a cold and have done nothing more interesting than lying on the couch and sneezing for several days, so there hasn't been much to post about.

Heh, me too!

I did just order a mess of clothes for Lands End super sale though. And a bunch of shoes from Zappos. It's that time of the year, I guess.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Heh, me too!

OMG me three! We should make an internet community, except for the part about not having enough energy to do anything.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I made applesauce last night. It called to me, so I went to Whole Foods and bought a gorgeous pork chop (and brie, of course). Seared it with salt and pepper, then served it with green beans, potatoes and the aforementioned applesauce. Mmmmm. I was going to also make an apple crostini, but I managed to set off the smoke detector when searing the pork chop (despite having the fan on and the balcony door open), so I decided to wait until tomorrow. The crust needs time to rest anyway.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Is it me, or has Bitches been rather quiet since last week?

Sick. Busy. Stressed. Nothing interesting to say.

I should have liveTweeted my illness last week.

"have eaten some crackers"

"BRB barfing"

"no worries, that's just red Gatorade"

"more sleep nao"

"will someone come clean the litterbox for me? no? ok"

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Is it me, or has Bitches been rather quiet since last week?

Busy, stressed, facepalming over some already-happening and about to happen RaceFail in the steampunk community, prepping for a convention next week, and now with bonus sick! ::waves Clovis in the air weakly::

When Pete was writing up the grocery list for today, I asked for brie. mmmm, St. Andre's.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Is it me, or has Bitches been rather quiet since last week?

I... haven't taken any photos of Ryan lately.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got brie today too!

I made JZ a sandwich with melty brie on baguette with thin sliced apples and roasted peppers with a side of green salad (red lettuce) and a smattering of grapes.

And a martini.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hope that he had a great time! So glad to hear he didn't have an episode.

He definitely did.

He's a weird one. He seems to be a childish 30, who treats me like I'm his aunt, but also a teenager. Odd vibe. But I'm glad you could help him. I think just knowing they would get him out helped stave it off a lot.
