Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Congrats, Erin!!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So when do I go? Id hate to go and be told "rest. Liquids." but...

You do risk being told it's nothing, but that's why you seek a professional opinion. Anything near a week and you ought to get it checked out if you can.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Congrats, Erin!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, your other risk is to go, much later, and be told, "You could have avoided all this extra aggravation if you'd just come in earlier." Admittedly, I am the type of person who believes that you should go in only when you need to be physically hauled to the doctor, myself. Because when the SO goes in, they always tell him, oh, you have this terrible thing which you have been so stoic for putting up with and here's this easily administered solution. When I go in, they always tell me, tough.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

sj, I'm sorry. That's really hard. You have lots of photos, right? And stories your mom and you can share with TCG and friends? You don't need the house, really. Those photos and memories are really enough.

Erin, Yay!

meara, can you call and ask if your symptoms sound like you need to be seen?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Rock the hell ON, Erin!

Yeah, plus a shitload of stuff including furniture being moved to my own apartment on Saturday. It's just sad, and Mom didn't specify she wanted to take my grandmother's roses with her, so we're having to leave those behind. Plus it was halfway between Mom's other place and this place, which means Mom is twice as far away now, which just makes me feel lonely and sort of isolated here. I have good friends but no family close by and when the window breaking accident happened I couldn't get in touch with any of TCG's relatives to help. t /brain dump

meara, the signs of a secondary bacterial infection are generally a fever and thick yellow/green mucus. The latter is debated, but for me it's pretty reliable for bronchitis.

Hmm. My chest def hurts (as does my whole body and my stomach, for some reason). Especially if I try to breathe deeply. But it isn't a sharp pain like I pulled something or broke a rib.

I have been told (repeatedly, even!) that this is a bad plan. Doesn't stop me from doing it.
