How do I know when to go to the doctor for a cold? I am just coughing, no stuffiness. But i know people I spent the weekend with have pneumonia and bronchitis. So when do I go? Id hate to go and be told "rest. Liquids." but...

Yeah, your other risk is to go, much later, and be told, "You could have avoided all this extra aggravation if you'd just come in earlier." Admittedly, I am the type of person who believes that you should go in only when you need to be physically hauled to the doctor, myself. Because when the SO goes in, they always tell him, oh, you have this terrible thing which you have been so stoic for putting up with and here's this easily administered solution. When I go in, they always tell me, tough.
