I am at work. Moving slowly, having to pause for waves of nausea, but I'm here and working. Nice to have an understanding boss.

Just randomly, I want to smish D (no, autocorrect, I do not want to "Amish" him). All our interactions are so easy, even if we're always having to ask the other to repeat what they're saying (he's hard of hearing, sometimes I can't parse his accent). It is super nice to date someone who is happy to spend time with me, lots of it. There's give and take, though honestly I feel I need to give more - I've been enjoying being taken care of and deferred to for once.

That is all. For now. Next time I'll find out if he likes carrots, I know you're dying to know.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, everyone. As these things go, this is going about as well as it can. I know at this point she'd rather go sooner than later, so that must be another relief to her.

I kinda hoped she would make it through the holidays one last time, but that's just me being selfish.
