Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

yay for 24 hour crisis lines! Good support.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

askye, that sounds absolutely amazing in terms of support. It's so great to have all those levels, and it makes so much sense.

I just woke up again. Going to walk Frankie around the block and see how I feel, and then run errands by car or bike accordingly.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Askye along the same lines as your therapist's suggestions a cold cloth on the back of the neck and/ or cold water on your wrists really helps me a lot.

TCG took me out for a late breakfast and then we took a long drive through the little country towns surrounding us, stopping at a few country stores along the way. And we bought a pumpkin. It's a gorgeous fall day outside.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I work at a 911 call/dispatch center, so we generally have 20-50 people working in the same very large room with 2 bathrooms

okay. I think you won the hazard duty award for the thread today. Perhaps you will be October's winner. smonster had been winning it this summer, Suela was coming in a close second and nearly winning with the latest fiasco, but I think you will take it for October.

askye, I'm glad you have found strong levels of support. that's really a blessing.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Umm, yes. Hello. Been a long while since I last posted here, and I'm starting to get the hint from life that if I have a free hour or two to browse through b.org, I shouldn't expect it to happen again for at least 2-3 weeks.

Now, I seem to remember that I left in the middle of some conversations. I looked for my name and nothing came up, but anyhow - in case life snatch me away from the board again and you want my two cents on anything, profile addy works best and fast if your name doesn't happen to be omnis (I know, hon. I'm sorry).

My ~mas, as always, go to you. Catching up on Beep Me and diving occasionally into Natter or Bitches has taught me that a lot of you are going through some serious shitstorms at the moment. I'm sorry to hear that. You're in my thoughts.

Ha! I pass on the title happily.

I managed to bike, in somewhat slo mo Muppet style (but less with the happy singing) to the bank and Fresh Market. I'm proud of myself for going into TFM for yogurt and kombucha and coming out with... yogurt and kombucha. And a single-serving piece of cheddar (realized I'd only had snack mix to eat today, and that at 9 am this morning) and two Luna bars. Things I wanted to buy but resisted: Pumpkin Graeter's, pumpkin and sage frozen ravioli, baguette and brie, blood orange Pellegrino, Bonne Maman preserves, Blenheim's ginger ale.

Also, hi Shir!!!!!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

yogurt and kombucha.

Don't drink it all at once, or it can upset your stomach.

Things I wanted to buy but resisted: Pumpkin Graeter's

You should NEVER resist that!

Er...I mean...way to be fiscally responsible! (Did you have it when you were here, lo those many years ago? For some reason I associate pumkpin Graeter's with you.)

Wuh oh. Just ate a Fage and drank half a kombucha. And ate a Luna bar. Feeling okay so far...

I believe I did! My friend's wedding was in October, so it would have been the right time of year.

The status is NOT quo.

Home again, home again, jiggety jig.

The hot shower I just took was heaven.
