Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I just ran out of gas for the first time ever. So embarrassing. I usually have a really good sense for pushing my car right to the limit, but I didn't set the trip mileage thingy. Oops. Boss is bringing me gas.

I was almost there, I pulled over 2 miles from home because I was nervous. Especially when I looked down at my odometer and realized that I'd gone 371 miles on one tank of gas. Say what you will about Nissans, they get some damned good mileage on the highway.

Our wings are not tired

Yeah, my niece wasn't being sarcastic, and she totally buys into the idea that he doesn't have a birth certificate and isn't an American citizen.

I just had to explain to a professional economist what "loss aversion" is. I never thought of that as an obscure subject within the field of economics.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I've found that it's very easy for people to slap on a big flag bumper sticker on the car or wave a flag from the car window. It isn't so easy to take the effort to make this country (or even one small corner of it) a better place.

Been struggling with this concept with one city, New Orleans! So, yeah, trufax.
