Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Man. I am cranky from PMS, nauseated from AB side effects, itchy from the ant bites, and groggy from the Benedryl. I don't know what to eat, I didn't do grocery shopping this weekend, and I'm not hungry anyway. I'm not in as bad a mood as that may sound, but I just don't have any spoons left.

Goals for the night; feed animals and self, prep for week, shower, and bed by 9:30 pm. Greek yogurt counts as dinner, right?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Greek yogurt counts as dinner, right?

With an upset tummy? Absolutely.

I managed to do All the Things today! Well, sorta. I took my BFF to the airport at 7AM (sad!) and decided to stay awake rather than going back to bed. So hit up the hardware store for more lightbulbs (whoever built my house decided the vast majority of fixtures would be in-ceiling and require fancy lightbulbs, grr). Then home to shower and get dressed and put in some of the lightbulbs. And then to the movies (Pitch Perfect was awesome!). Then TJ Maxx, where I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but did find some other things. Then sewing class (unfortunately, didn't finish sewing the piece, and today was the last class, but hoping I can work it out). Then hot yoga (my groupon was expiring today!). Whew!

Now to sit on my couch and watch some TV and eat some straight-from-TJ's food (the egg white salad is delicious!)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ugh. In not quite as "yay me" news, I looked at the video BFF and I shot last night and GAWD, I look terrible on video. At least in photos I can convince myself it's a bad photo (and can get good ones) but on video...ouch. Ay.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I hear ya, Sistah. The video and pix that the DH took of me skating this morning are HORRIFYING. I have such a double chin that I barely have a neck anymore.

Even though the floor isn't 100% finished, it looks great! I really can't believe how it changes the look of the room. It makes it feel bigger! Crazy.

I managed to unbox all the kitchen stuff. Run 2 loads of dishes (since its been sitting in boxes for 3 months, thought it best to wash the stuff) and have a 3rd on the counter ready to go. I say unbox, as I still haven't figured the home for everything just yet. But, I wanted boxes gone. I also did a load of laundry. And hung the two iron art works. And mom came over and we watched the Eagles/Giants game. Despite the disappointment of the flooring not 100% done, all in all, it was a productive day.
