cute shoes!
Congrats GC and don't worry about the two bedroom. My kids have their own rooms and yet rarely do they sleep the whole night alone. Isaac wants company so every night he seeks it, either coming to our bed or going to his sister's. And they go through phases of voluntarily sharing a bedroom for a month or more. I shared a bedroom until college. Kids don't need their own rooms.
I'm a little overwhelmed with people who feel the need to point out that I have too many books,
Unpossible! That concept does not exist
I got rid of a bunch of books when Mom was here, I still have a bunch in boxes because is there no room. But as Mom said - I'm a person who loves books and there's nothing wrong with that.
Now he goes to his room in the evening to do his homework and watch stuff on his iPad or chat with friends
That's what you
think
(coughPORNcough)
he's doing.
Oh, wait--you didn't specify what's on the iPad.
sj,
so, I still have boxes in the house and in my office. someone jokingly asked me (in my campus office), when will you be unpacked?
My answer was: when I have time to do it.
This summer sucked. I have unpacked my most immediate needs. Unless you want a screaming nubian, give me a few weeks, I'll get there.
GC,
congratulations woman! that is really wonderful.
Finally told our realtor we were halting the search. I knew she'd be cool and she totally was. She was absolutely the best realtor we've been with. If you're in the LA-area and need someone, let me know. She's GREAT!
people who feel the need to point out that I have too many books
I would argue that they have too few books.
Dude, GLAM, you DID NOT POST THAT news here! I know this because I have been anxiously (yes, anxious) awaiting this news and did not want to ask because, you know, rude and all.
BUT SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Shane's going to be a big brother to tadpole!
javachik, you are the sweetest. Thank you, friend! I actually don't think I posted here about it, but I could have sworn I had. I blame lack of sleep and pregnancy brain.
