It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{{Scrappy}}} Calm~ma for you and results~ma for your mother.

smonster, I hope things go well for you today.

Nora, feel better.

Mom is here today. My seasonal depression has been kicking my ass since I got back from Denver. So, we're trying to do all the things today because of course I'm behind on everything.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Nora, NOOOOO... Are you going to the doctor?

I'm going to see how I feel after today. Resting and soup and liquids on tap right now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

virtual hugs and ~ma for Scrappy, nora, sj, smonster, and anyone else feeling the need.

I am totally burned out on my job. I can tell, because it's almost 3pm and my most significant accomplishment today is getting through the map at xkcd. Also, a cat pooed on me. I'd whine that I want to go home, but I AM home, so mainly I want a drink.

Can I have some health~ma for my uncle? He's in the hospital with a collapsed lung. They're keeping it artificially inflated right now, but every time they try to take him off the machine, it collapses again.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Yikes, sj, how scary! Lots of ~ma for him.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

sj, I just got off the phone with my mom and HER lung collapsed during the biopsy! Hers seems to be coming back much better than your poor uncle's though. She said "The young technician said it happens a lot to certain patients during this procedure. I think he meant it happens a lot to PEOPLE WHO ARE VERY OLD LIKE YOU but was too nice to say it." My mom, funny even while undergoing uncomfortable medical procedures.

Yikes, Scrappy. Continued ~ma to your mom. My uncle had fluid removed from his lung last week because he had been sick for a while and they wanted to biopsy it (the biopsy came back negative) and it collapsed when he was home a few days later. There is still fluid in his other lung, which now they're too afraid to remove.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

~ma to your uncle, sj.

My mom, funny even while undergoing uncomfortable medical procedures.

She really is. I hope she's feeling better and gets good news. I am glad you can be with her.
