'Soul Purpose'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yikes, Scrappy. Continued ~ma to your mom. My uncle had fluid removed from his lung last week because he had been sick for a while and they wanted to biopsy it (the biopsy came back negative) and it collapsed when he was home a few days later. There is still fluid in his other lung, which now they're too afraid to remove.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Good heavens, sj. Health~ma to your uncle.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

~ma to your uncle, sj.

My mom, funny even while undergoing uncomfortable medical procedures.

She really is. I hope she's feeling better and gets good news. I am glad you can be with her.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Goodness! Lung~ma all around.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lots of lung~ma.

I've got a cold, and I'm coughing a bit, and I'm scared that it's going to turn into two months of bronchitis like it did last year. I'm actually feeling a bit better now than I was earlier today, but I think I'm going to be worried until I feel totally better.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Reinflate, little lungs! Go forth and collapse no more.

Separate post: StW is going to be here in five minutes or so, and I honestly don't give a crap.

In what may not be a coincidence, D just left.

And this was the quote in the corner just now:

Bye, now. Have good sex.

I think I just heard StW's truck. Here goes nothing!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yipes! Lung~ma to all who need it, and travel~ma to Scrappy and good results~ma to her mom.

I got through work fine and kids were good enough to get through their homework without a meltdown, and then I had to conk out for a little bit. I am so crazy tired.

And in other random news from our house, Franny has taken to guacamole so now I make it for her after school sometimes. Today she ate almost the whole bowl. I think I finally figured out a healthy way to get a few more calories in her.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Two drinks. Back home. All good. We're both dating other people; he apologized, unsolicitedly validated everything I had told him and said it made him very introspective. He's trying to be "more emotionally present" in his current relationship (YOU ARE WELCOME, UNKNOWN CHICK).

He's still totes adorbs (stoopid crooked teeth, stoopid Alabama accent that comes out when he's tired or drunk) but I think I'm okay. I got a little emotional at one point, but no actual tears shed. His best friend in town is moving away, and his gf lives out of town (you bet your ass I guffawed at that), and I think he's going to be lonely. He said to let me know if I want to hang again. We shall see.
