Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sean, if the wake is 5:00 or later on Friday and you want to Skype in, I am happy to go up and carry a laptop around for a while.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Thanks, Debet. I'm sure it's in the evening, so that's a very kind and generous backup plan. That may be what happens, if you can swing it. We'll play it by ear over the next couple of days and see what happens.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Cool. Email me or text me or whatever and we'll get it figured out.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hell is cleaning windows. E and I have done desert island albums, movies, top five movie musicals, stage musicals, hours of FCM, many games of Contact (word guessing), elaborate descriptions of hypothetical last meals, things we're grateful for, funny drunken injury stories... and we still have Over an hour to go.

Thrive to spite them

Today has been super stressful and it's nothing big. But, the Feliway has run out and I didnt' realize it. I now know it's working because without the Feliway Dean peed on the clean laundry and he and Penny got into a major fight. Not Kitty Wrestling but...not quite Thunderdome but definitly Kitty Street Brawl Smack Down.

So I had to separate them. Wash the clothe dean peed on (I just changed the litter box the other day).

And then there's the fingerless gloves I'm trying to make for Dad. I'm at the final 10 rows it's a ribbed pattern knit 3 purl 3 and yet. I've messed it up three or four times. I went to the yarn shop twice for help. Some how I'm either not finishing my stitches and then try to correct it and end up wtih dropped stitches. Or not finishing my stitches and try to correct it and end up with extra stitches and then drop stitches.

I've been weepy and emotional all day.

I should be happy Mom's coming next Wednesday and the rugs I ordered (I ended up getting 2 of the skull and cross bones so I'll have wall to wall rug - hopefully) got here.

Except all I want to do is curl into a ball and sob and I can't even articulate why. I think instead of laying down and crying I'm going to go cry and play WoW.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hil, how's the finger doing?

OK. Still hurting a little, but I can make a fist and sign the letter E today, which I couldn't do yesterday. It still looks slightly crooked, but not as much as it did before.

Construction guys just called. They got approval for the extra expense this morning, and *hope* to start up again on Monday. With the porch. I asked if the interior floor could be the priority, because I have (2) contracts for work that need finishing (flooring and closet). He said he would look into it. @@

Thrive to spite them

I Skyped with Mom and E. He was really wired which means he was ready for bed. But it was great to see him and he blew me kisses and showed me his owl painting they did at school. I showed him a picture of the trick or treat bag I started for him and he didn't like it.

There were 2 in the new issue of Crochet World and he liked both of them and picked one he liked the best so I'll start working on that for him.
