Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ginger, I hope that rib sorts itself out.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I hope you're not coming down with something, too, smonster.

I wanted to give blood last Friday. Then I read the small print on the notice from the place that was having a collection event: 11am-3:30pm. Yeah, sorry, there's this whole employment thing that takes precedence. This is one of the few times I miss working for the NIEHS. They use to get the blood people to come to them, and I could donate on company time.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Feeling worse, not better, so I'm staying home today. I tend to stay home the first day I feel sick to head it off at the pass and keep from spreading it. Who knows, might be SAD combined with too many chicken wings, but I slept a lot and still feel crappy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor, smonster. Feel better soon.

I think I might have finally gotten rid of the three day headache from hell. Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't come back.

Thanks. I just got woken up by Jehovah's Witnesses at the door. I have to say that I was impressed - when I cut them off to say that I was sick and not up to a discussion, they asked if they could get me anything. That was nice and actually Christian of them.

sj, glad your headache is better and hope it stays that way.

I think I'm going to try and eat.

Nice!

Thrive to spite them

I'm going to start the flylady stuff. I hate feeling so disorganized and chaotic and I hope that this can help a little bit.

I like the site redesign.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I think you gave it to me. Went to bed with, and woke up with a headache. Hate.

smonster, feel better.

So I emailed Big Brothers to "schedule" a pick up, thinking I could actually schedule it for next week. Turns out they tell you when they'll pick it up, and it's tomorrow. Le sigh -- at least they're picking it up. Beggars, et. al.

Oh, great. My office light just went out as the tornado warning sirens just went off (happens monthly, not a tornado) on this grey day.

It's going to be One of Those Days, right?
